I myself am 83. A fine age to discuss memory. Unlike many of my peers I still like to think I have a firm grasp on current events. Of course, I'll bet many of them think the same about themselves.

The problem occurs when memory fails at a crucial juncture, while driving, talking to con men, or when you are about to wipe. Serious complications can occur during these periods that at the least nearly cause accidents of some sort and at the worst can leave the victim of memory failure with injuring themselves or others, an empty wallet or relatives who will no longer visit.
