Pouncer the mighty gave a long furry stretch that squoze her eyes to slits and a yawn that showed every white hair on her tongue. Somewhere deep beneath a thousand years of domestication something tiny told her it was time to hunt. Stealthily she crept beneath the convenient outcrop in the center of the room and peered and sniffed for prey.

Sunbeam. Dust Ball. Stray nickel. Fly.

The dust ball jiggles slightly in a movement of air. The hunt is on. Hindquarters twitch and set for spring. Silent death descends on dust.
