Senor Estrada met them at the gantry. He waved his ground crew forward, and they loaded the limp body onto a gurney. Technicians attached electrodes to her smooth, glistening body. As the stretcher passed down them on the way to the vivarium, Estrada allowed his hand to run over her body. Harlan and Jake gave each other disgusted looks inside the capsule, and then came out to meet Estrada. There was no sense in letting anyone that rich know that they thought his fetish was disgusting. If Estrada had only seen the pack, and her social position within it. Jake had picked her out from the others, guessing that she was in full estrous from the pink flush of her flanks. Estrada lit a cigar, setting off particulate sensors which his technicians reluctantly overrode.

"Mi amigos de la futura!", he began.

"Buenos, Senor Estrada."

"Eet is verry verry nice one you bring back, my friends. Mucho me gusto!"

"Yes, we picked her out from one of the mountain packs, not far from L.A."

"He picked me out from the California mountains as well", said a harsh female voice.

Jake looked up to discover a woman, six feet tall, with long dark hair pulled back in a pony tail, pointing a shotgun directly at the back of Estrada's head. She was wearing camflague armly surplus gear--the type the men usually wore on their hunts, and there was nothing sexy about her--unless you found extraordinary displays of strength from women sexy--but Jake remembered a time when he had seen her here in what looked more like a Los Vegas show girl's costume. Jake may not have turned on by female tigers, but he certainly preferred the show girl costume to this far more menacing one.

"Bambi--what are you doing," Estrada said, trying to display no fear. Harlan quickly realized that he, Jake, and Estrada were surrounded by women with various hunting weapons.

"I am not Bambi. I am Diana. You will not longer call me that disgusting name and you will no longer hold me or any other woman here."

"My dear . . ."

"We will be your captives no longer," Diana said. "Women, take these men to the hunting grounds--without their weapons for a change. When this beautiful tiger adjusts to her new environment, we will release her so that SHE can hunt."

"But, Diana," Jake said. "We are not responsible for what has happened here."

"Explain that your former prey," Diana said, as the women led them out.
